Hello! I’m Aitana, from Spain. I’m about to start my second year at university studying Communications, but fashion and makeup have always been a passion of mine. Being an intern at Siopaella has given me a great chance to get up close and personal with the fashion world. In this post, I’ll be styling three of my favourite high-end outfits from Siopaella. I’ve chosen a black and white theme because, apart from the occasional funky vintage shirt, my wardrobe is almost entirely monochrome. I hope that with this post, I can show that black and white can be as classic as it can be daring.
Hola! Soy Aitana, de España. Estoy a punto de empezar mi segundo año de Comunicación Audiovisual en la uni, pero la moda y el maquillaje siempre han sido mi pasión. El ser becaria en Siopaella ha sido una gran oportunidad para vivir de cerca el mundo de la moda. En esta publicación voy a enseñar tres de mis conjuntos de alta costura favoritos de Siopaella. He elegido una temática en blanco y negro porque, aparte de la ocasional camisa estampada vintage, mi armario es mayormente monocromático. Espero poder enseñaros con esta publicación que el blanco y negro puede ser tan clásico como atrevido.
Look one:
This first look combines simplicity with an edgy twist. This Forever Unique tuxedo style jumpsuit is the perfect effortless but dressy outfit. I paired it with a colourful Dior vintage crystal necklace and black Louboutins, to tone down the masculinity of the tux. The coral Chanel bag, combined with the classic red shoe sole, gives the perfect pop of colour to this monochrome outfit. To add even more detail, I’m wearing a hair clip, also by Chanel.
Este primer look combina elegancia con un giro ‘duro’. Este mono estilo traje de Forever Unique es el perfecto conjunto arreglado pero sin esfuerzo. Lo he combinado con un colorido collar de cristales vintage de Dior y unos Louboutin negros, para rebajar la masculinidad del traje. El bolso coral de Chanel, junto con las clásicas suelas rojas, da un toque de color perfecto a este look monocromático. Para añadir aún más detalle, en el pelo llevo un pasador, también de Chanel.

Look two:
The perfect twist to the ever so classic Wednesday Adams-style dress. The unique neckline of this Jaeger London dress turns what could be a boring dress into an interesting look. To add some more minimalism, I’m also wearing a white Chanel bag and a dainty Swarovski bracelet. I paired it with a daring Alexis Bittar ring, since its gold tone contrasts with the bag’s hardware and the bracelet. To break the monochrome look even further, I’m also wearing red Louboutins.
El giro perfecto al classiquísimo vestido a lo Miercoles Adams. La forma única del cuello de este vestido de Jaeger London convierte lo que podría ser un vestido aburrido en un look interesante. Para añadir mas minimalismo, también llevo un bolso blanco de Chanel y una delicada pulsera de Swarovsky. Todo esto combinado con un atrevido anillo de Alexis Bittar, cuyo tono dorado contrasta con la plata en el bolso y la pulsera. Para romper aún mas el look monocromático, también llevo unos Louboutins rojos.

Look three:
This completely black and white look needs no pop of colour to break the monotony, since this speckled Luke Lovely dress speaks for itself. The gradient pattern of the speckles, topped with the black Peter Pan collar, flatters any body shape. In order to not disturb the colour pattern, I’ve accessorised the outfit with a classic Chanel black bag and gorgeous YSL black platform heels. I’m also wearing a Marc Jacobs ring and Guess watch, both in silver tones.
Este look completamente en blanco y negro no necesita ningún toque de color para romper la monotonía, ya que este vestido moteado de Luke Lovely habla por sí solo. El degradado que forma el estampado, rematado con el cuello negro estilo peter pan, favorece cualquier figura. Para no alterar la paleta de colores, he añadido como accesorios un clásico bolso negro de Chanel y unos espectaculares tacones negros con plataforma de YSL. También llevo una sortija de Marc Jacobs y un reloj de Guess, ambos en tono plateado.
