Another week another event! The gorgeous people over at Bannerton PR killed it again - this time for Flormar Ireland's first birthday! In a style quite different to other first birthdays we've been at, there was champagne, vodka cocktails from Absolut and gorgeous men in kilts banging drums with neither a clown or magician in sight!

The event was held in the historic crypts of Christ Church Cathedral. Such a beautiful setting with the old stone grey walls clashing against a large colourful wall made up of real (and yes we touched them to ensure they were real) flowers! We felt like Kim K throwing out our best poses although none of us came close to the shapes stylist extrodanaire Brian Conway was throwing (flower between his teeth and smizing so well he'd give Tyra Banks a run for her money)! If you follow us on our Snapchat you will have seen it!!

There was delicious nibbles from Currabinny, a healthy food start up from James Kavanagh and William Murray. We brought home bags of pecan and white chocolate banana loaf (which was demolished once I got into bed). James Kavanagh is a well established Snapchat superstar so of course over on our Snapchat he gave us a 10 second tour of their table of culinary delights. I wish them the best with this venture - two lovely lads making lovely food (PS - the recipe for this loaf can be found in this months Stellar magazine).

The highlight of the night was of course the beautiful Alesha Dixon's performance! Too much fun was had bopping along to her hits. Earlier on in the shop while we were getting ready, we prayed to the Gods of Early 2000s Girlbands that she would play Scandolous! Our prayers were answered! To say we lost our s**t is an understatement. I thought Rachel and Orlagh were going to join Alesha on the microphones at one stage!

We might have a girlcrush on Alesha but I'll tell you something, she had a girlcrush on our very own Tanya! Tanya was wearing one of our very own Siopaedit vintage shirts and Alesha almost took it off her back (it is GORGEOUS to be fair to her).

Alesha herself was so lovely to chat with! We pitched her the idea of the Siopettes girlband and she said it was a YES from her!! Our dreams are finally coming true!

This is the third event I've been to that was hosted by Bannerton PR. They are the most hardworking, dedicated team and so lovely to chat to. From all of us here at Siopaella I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Sharon and her team for having us and a massive well done on a fantastic event!!!
